I agree with other comments regarding a certain Lady of a certain Metal. I have seen pieces VERY similar to those purchased. I am not saying she didn't make them or improve them, but if she is worried about copies well that ship has already sailed...probably to Valinor at this point. I had to miss my area's local RenFaire this year. So thank you for these RenFaire videos. Right now I am only budgeting for a PAX and a local comic con. SUGGESTIONS on affordable RenFaires in the northeastern portion of the U.S. are most welcome. My local one admission fee is VERY pricey more for the noble folk than the peasant people.

I am beginning to think that the entertainment industry is essentially GoT (and not just Khaleesi) only even more amoral. There are the alliances, the royalty, the upstarts, the liars, the collaborators and the power plays. Only differences might be in Hollywood, the lifeblood is money and the redrum is of one's character and career, not body. It is amazing that all those movie premieres don't resemble a slightly lesser version of GoT's famous "Red Wedding" episode. Hmmm is that why the carpets are red?😉

Who is captaining this descent into delulu? Allegedly the plaintiff's legal team is top of the line, successful, well-respected (or at least well-known). Is this firm, allegedly, saying yes to every wish of their client? Is that ethical? IMO every submission, plea, filing, letter by the plaintiff's legal team is allegedly being done to drag this process out as long as possible. As a result the defendants' legal team becomes mired in paperwork, as is a probably very unhappy judge. Meanwhile the defendant is emptying their bank account. My multiple usage of "allegedly" is deliberate as this plaintiff will (allegedly😉) file a civil suit/send a subpoena to absolutely anyone.

If I understand this situation correctly there may be another item regarding this mess of a civil suit that we should watch carefully. Andy Signore of Popcorn Planet (YT) has been subpoenaed by BL's legal team for his financial records, texts and emails. A Florida court has recently denied Mr. Signore the title of journalist along with that profession's accompanying protection of sources and work product. I am sure that Mr. Signore intends to appeal. However doesn't this ruling potentially put any news/legal commentator on YT, or any social media platform, at high risk legally and financially? Or am I overreacting as this is only one judge in only one (U.S.) state?

I had noticed that recent images of BL show a full smile with her upper face engaged. Especially noteworthy, as previous to the civil law suit, most of her smiles were relegated to only the area around her lower face. This trial (now delayed ?) is a potential mass career un-aliver. PR-wise without giving away too many ideas gratis, it would be interesting to hear examples (without mentioning names) of how these different people with differing occupations (such as one of the secondary actors, a producer, a screenwriter, a novelist and even a novice director) could return to the entertainment industry successfully even with IEWU on their resume.

BTW Beware MSM in court rooms, I was watching commentary on another channel at another trial located in NYC. MSM seems to have cornered the court version of FAST PASS in line cutting, seat filling, plus entitlement, none of which IMO appears to have improved their coverage and/or legal comprehension. I think that Paul Feig still "likes" BL. However I am guessing liability insurance on Mr. Feig's films with BL on the set might be a bit higher than in the past. BL's best bet for continuing her film career would probably be via RR's finding and funding properties for her...without trying to start a coup. JB is in a tougher position with the entertainment industry as I am not sure Wayfarer could find another large distributor like SONY. Whatever happens if this goes to court, everyone and anyone with IEWU on their resume, even if they only provided lunch, is going to find future jobs in the entertainment industry difficult. Hollywood is like a very small town. Everyone knows everyone else's business, makes personal judgements and hires mostly friends and relatives.

I agree that many of the Daily Mail comments seemed to be sus. "CozyLoverton" was oddly worded, almost like a translation app was used. "MostPeopleAreStupid" was well (highly ironically)...stupid. Thanks to BL and RR, who believes these MSM/legacy media article's comments these days? I did not vote, but I had never heard of the alleged 'bot attack on TS. I had read how her fans were a bit put out by the multiple editions/special features that had to be purchased regarding the latest TS album. I know when entertainment industries merge or buy others that very often the old slate of ventures get "put on hold". However, the liabilities (both insurance-wise and fan-wise) in having a RR property may be a bridge too far for the financiers. If those "thin" images were not filtered/photoshopped then wow, these people have problems. BTW, weight loss drugs like the one mentioned need to be carefully studied by an MD and explained to the patient. That type of weight loss is highly effective, quick and obviously without the dangers of surgery. HOWEVER, please note you must start a weight-bearing exercise routine. (Disclaimer I am not a medical professional) You will not only be losing fat with these drugs, you will be losing muscle mass. Respect the meds, be knowledgeable and follow medical advice...ALWAYS.

GOOD News: Popcorn Planet appeals do not have to be resolved before or after BL vs. JB/Wayfarer in May 2026. BAD News: Popcorn Planet will be in deep legal debt by that point. If Popcorn Planet loses all possible appeals, what does that mean for YT or for that matter any social media platform? It is actually in YT's best interests (aka their finances) to support its channels. Journalism is reporting news, whether financial, entertainment or legal. Channels get accuracy and impartiality by speaking to both/all sides of a topic. Journalism does not require a multi-story building, lots of paper or degrees from an educational institute. Judges live and breathe precedents, what is out there on journalism?

The trial date has been moved to May 2026. I still think that there will be an 11th hour settlement with more NDAs than money changing hands. Going to court is, as ironically a reporter for a MSM/legacy media outlet has said, "...mutually assured destruction." Whatever the verdict is, essentially everyone involved loses their reputations, puts future deals/employment at risk and the public's trust. Even those behind the camera on IEWU with this on their resume may have issues finding their next job. Talking about PR crisis or "regular", not sure that is a field I would want to be part of at this point. Just like in "Wicked" we have seen behind the smoke and mirrors to find grifters, liars and scammers.

Oh you made me cry. I never cry, well I do sometimes. As beautiful as the gown, chapeau and cape are, the added joy of not simply "saying yes to the dress", but also being "one with the dress" was even more breathtaking and a gotcha of my heart. BTW appreciated that although the robe did echo a certain problematic character, you did NOT go full Daenerys Targaryen as no one was singed and/or grievously harmed in the making of or wearing that cape. 2nd BTW could we have a close up of Sir Joe? Thank you to Kjersti and Magnus for talking us through this horrific news. It is all so so sad and extremely shocking, thus hard to parse. Admittedly this is hindsight, but looking at the group photo of the family at the Spinal Tap sequel premiere in September, Nick looks extremely troubled and ill at ease. Usually when a tragedy like this happens we rail against the health care system's lack of support for covering mental health. However in this case, the failure wasn't due to lack of finances. That Nick Reiner was in/out of rehab so many times is an indicator that the traditional treatment for addiction failed him, even before this tragedy. Drug addiction is a chronic condition. Maintenance (therapy) is necessary no matter how "clean" one is. My prayers and love go out to The Reiner family and friends.

The timing of this video was helpful to me. There was a recent public tragedy due to a relapsed addict that affected me more deeply than one would think as it was essentially one stranger feeling the loss of another stranger. I became depressed. Then I came across this video. Without going into identifying details, the relapsed addict had been in and out of rehab frequently. It never worked for very long. Guessing a proper psych diagnosis was never made. It is all so sad. However I would like to hear how you going back into rehab helped you to rejoin life. I can see how SA at 19 and losing SO at 29 were tipping points. More importantly how did this recent period in rehab help? Was the program the same as the earlier time? How can rehab be successful? Can rehab "wear off"? Is a lifetime of self-awareness, vigilance, absolute avoidance of any (unprescribed) drug and alcohol plus having routine therapy the only way to possess that "golden ticket" to lifetime sobriety? Does the crochet center you, make you more calm (asking for ME)!

Everything that source mentioned sounded accurate. Hollywood is not the epicenter of compassion, empathy and humanity. It is a one industry town. That is why the more successful you are in the entertainment business, the more vital it is that you surround yourself with people who are ethical/smart enough to say "NO, that is NOT a good idea." There is a 2008 song by the group Coldplay called Viva La Vida. If that group's name sounds familiar you remember (1) their hits [so you are OLD like me] (2) that Chris Martin is Gwyneth Paltrow's ex [you are not quite as OLD as me] or (3) that cheating incident involving 2 clueless Astronomy execs at a Coldplay concert in Foxboro, Massachusetts (you are AGELESS😏). In the 3rd stanza of their song "Viva La Vida" is a phrase: 🎶 For some reason I can't explain 🎶 Once you'd gone, there never, never an honest word 🎶 And that was when I ruled the world...." This song illustrates the rise and the fall of a person who never understood reality of power until it was far too late. Sad, but still a catchy song😉

If legacy media is correct then starting in his mid-teens Nick Reiner had multiple Rehab stays. I wonder if (I am NOT a clinician) that means there may have been something else going on which kept him landing back into Rehab? His defiance, past homelessness and disrespect also seem to indicate that it was not only the addiction. Even at the age of 32, Nick Reiner seemed locked into a young teen's obstinance. We will never know if the doctors failed to correctly diagnose the 15 year old version of Nick Reiner or if his parents refused to consider that mental illness might be adding to the behavioral problems. I know hindsight is 20/20 but there is an image (taken 09/12/2025) with Nick Reiner and the rest of his family at the premiere of Spinal Tap 2. Look at the faces/body language of the rest of the family, then look at Nick Reiner. In Nick Reiner I see stiffness, detachment, discomfort and dislike of the situation. Thank you for the interview with the retired FBI agent. She clarified many points that I had questions about. When she was asked how she handles this type of incident, it was chilling to hear her say how she has seen so much damage that humanity is capable of, that she was not shocked or surprised. We often do not think about what the first responders have to deal with. We think about the victim in the abstract, without the visuals. These first responders are very very special people. I hope that they receive help to be able to move on without burnout.

THANK YOU to Kjersti and Magnus for this commentary. The logic, critical thinking and compassion shown does calm me. As horrific as this sounds, the way the Reiners were un-alived, with the fury and the lack of thought, reminds me of a tantrum from a small child who cannot recognize boundaries, consequences, and the world in general. While not a trained expert I was in a job which gave me a view into children with emotional difficulties. I am not excusing the behavior, only IMO that Nick Reiner never grew up emotionally. It was very apparent in interviews that I saw. A comment (not sure it was a subscriber to this account of not) mentioned, "You cannot cure a physical disease or mental illness with only your love, you need help." Probably hiring an attorney like Alan Jackson, is to be sure that Nick Reiner ends up in a secure facility that will help, not simply house him. Not that it matters, but my guess is friends of Rob and Michele Reiner are paying the legal fees.

Innocent until proven guilty is understood. However as of this comment, there appears to be only one assailant in custody to be arraigned for this crime. The prosecution will probably ask for lifetime incarceration w/o parole. Whoever hired Alan Jackson do not wish to see Nick Reiner "free" as he could never cope. Such individuals would want to see Nick Reiner end up in a place (I am NOT talking about a Club Fed-type) that is not only highly secure but one that will take care of him in a way that his parents would have wanted for their son. I hope this tragedy leads to treatment changes for young addicts with underlying mental health issues. I saw this comment on another YT channel regarding this tragedy, "You cannot cure a physical disease or mental illness with only your love, you need help."

A small point about covering the windows, very often people on the autism spectrum have a hypersensitivity to light and noise. I have no idea of Nick Reiner's mental health, however after watching some interviews that he did with his father, (am not a clinician) substance addiction was only the surface problem. Assuming no one else is arrested for this crime, Nick Reiner should face the full consequences for his actions. However, I believe that an attorney as well-known and capable as Alan Jackson is there to be certain the Nick Reiner will be sentenced not only to a secure facility, but one that would provide life-long care for Nick Reiner. At 32 years of age he is unlikely to change thus cannot live in an open society. I hope that the Reiner children, Tracy, Jake and Romy are all being cared for as they are the living victims in this tragedy.

Thank you for this video (and potentially for a part 2). Rob Reiner and his films filled my childhood. My deep, visceral sorrow for someone that I had never met is probably outlined somewhere in the DSM-5-TR😉. Early in the video when Rob Reiner said the most important thing a parent can do is keep their child safe, my heart sank. Obviously you keep an infant from swallowing objects. You prevent the toddler from running into the street, but after that age, the most important job is growing an independent, compassionate, critical thinking human. I am NOT blaming the victims. Being somewhat awkward in social situations myself (eye contact is difficult, my posture/demeanor is stiff), I did recognize those signs in Nick Reiner in the "Being Charlie" interview. I hope that this tragedy can lead to better diagnostic protocols for teens in addiction along with more effective treatments than the standard 28 days in a rehab facility. Hopes and prayers to the Reiner family and friends. I hope that the 3 adult children, Tracy, Jake and Romy are with those that they trust.

I am shocked. NYT and I agree regarding Brandon Sklenar's performance in 2025 film, The Housemaid. I agree that it is never acceptable to threaten or to dox anyone, regarding the Astronomy execs at the Coldplay concert. RR and Maximum Effort "punching done" is just another day for them. Should MSM be correct about Nick Reiner's mental health history, it would confirm what I have seen simply looking at still photos and watching several interviews. This was, and obviously is, a very troubled man. That his meds were changed and he was released within only a few weeks of the change is IMO malpractice. Nick Reiner has obviously has been misdiagnosed and improperly medicated since the age of 15, perhaps longer. Nick Reiner's parents most likely did fear him, but they also loved him. In their memory, in their honor and for the safety of society, Nick Reiner needs a secure, appropriate and permanent living environment. I am guessing that is why a well-known, skilled attorney like Alan Jackson has been retained. I would like to see treatment of all teens with mental health issues and addictions re-evaluated. As we can see in our daily news alerts, whatever is being done in diagnoses and treatments, it is NOT working.

What antphrodite said about a long ago trauma that may have resurfaced reminded me of what I heard (possibly rumor) that Nick had intensely disliked rehab (first stint was at 15) to the point that he thought it was a cult. In memory of Rob and Michele Reiner and in honor of their lifelong struggle to help their son, I hope that the court allows defense attorney Alan Jackson to assist in recommendations for a lifelong, secure and appropriate environment for Nick Reiner. My thoughts and prayers are with the Reiner family and friends. However, especially for the adult Reiner children, Tracy, Jake and Romy. Very special care is needed for those 3 at this time.

I would guess that the HIPAA rights of Nick Reiner will be surrendered during discovery or in the process of a plea deal negotiation. IMO Alan Jackson has been hired not to allow Nick Reiner to live among us freely, but to ensure that Nick Reiner is placed in a secure, safe, appropriate facility for the remainder of Reiner's life. As for Brian Walshe, I am going to say it is was almost M1, I know not legal. The video of him calmly buying things like scented candles and orange buckets in several stores was chilling. His audio interviews with the police did not sound overly stressed. He did not try to change the jury's opinions by testifying. He left them with a careful, methodical and lying persona. As trier of the facts, jury's verdict was correct. The judge was top notch (are we sure this was the Commonwealth😉). May Brian Walshe never leave the cage of his forever home or ever have contact with his 3 children until they are adults.

MSM/legacy media (like TMZ) does not have a stellar rep for accuracy. However if Nick Reiner's meds were changed, there is a minimum of 6 - 8 week period (longer if financially possible) that should pass before an "at risk" patient is discharged as the drugs' efficacy or side effects require time for observation. I am not a clinician, but had experience with the field of mental health. Nick Reiner in interviews in his mid-20's shows evidence of being "on the spectrum" (stiff body language, minimal eye contact, inability to stay on topic) which would affect both illegal and prescribed drug effects. Beginning at age 15, he was in and out of rehab frequently. He found rehab to be an ineffective, scary experience while comparing it to a cult. His parents loved, yet feared him. Mental health professionals failed him. Lifetime confinement for Nick Reiner is a given. I hope that it is to a place suitable to honor the memory and lifetime devotion of Rob and Michele Reiner.

Loved all the products, but did laugh at the string things. I mean, why? What happens if you dance, sit, eat, then dance again? I am not going to advertise the brand, but the shape wear that I use has minimal seams so it works just fine under bodycon items AND is comfy. One of the comments to this video on that water bottle was from a biomedical scientist who gives a good scientific take. My fav product was the Chomp Saw. I guess that I am also an adult child. I think that the video image of the little girl with the long hair was to show that the mechanism did not grab the hair to wind around the mechanism causing, well you can imagine. QQQ: can you make this a series, but also include "losers" on Shark Tank that confounded the "sharks" and doing just fine in the business world?

Many are looking at Nick Reiner thru the lens of mental illness, which while not wrong, is not the mission statement of this channel. I appreciate an analysis of only the body language of someone who seems to have difficulty deciphering society and understanding its inhabitants. What stands out to me in the video interviews, is Nick Reiner's rigid/stiffness of his body. his difficulty maintaining eye contact and in staying on topic. His first (of many) session in rehab was at 15 years of age. I speculate that to Nick Reiner, rehab was even more painful, threatening and scary to him than to most people. In a 2015 print interview, Nick Reiner referred to rehab as a cult. That sounds like anger. Condolences and prayers go out to the family and friends of Rob and Michele Reiner, My hope is that the 3 adult children, Stacy, Jake and Romy are being cared for and counseled.

My fridge, washer and dryer have lived long enough to be "IN" with Pantone. I agree with Nicole that to fully lean into the 2026 color of the year would probably require multiple purchases as items wear out along with vigorous weekly professional cleaning while those items exist...hence lots of disposable income. My color choice would be mahogany with a mixture of burgundy. Well when 2027's color of the year is proclaimed it will quite easy to repaint all those 2026 walls.😉

The most dangerous person anyone can ever face is one without a conscience, empathy and compassion who has chosen lying and manipulation as a career. Until December 18 2025, Brian Walshe appeared to have been quite successful in avoiding punishment. Thank you to a very intelligent jury whose verdict has finally caused Brian Walshe to face punishment that he had eluded for so long and also to a judge who was attentive to the victim, responsible to the law and an excellent critical thinker.

Anonymity gives the fringe (of any belief system or any level of discourse) the freedom to be clueless, clumsy and cruel. I would like to think that the internet only magnifies what has been with us, whether we admit it or not, for generations. There is the internet syndrome of "pile-on" whether done by 'bots or humans, famous or infamous. This can become very scary very quickly. It is hard to lower the volume of the chaos. I have no answers. I THANK LGA, and more YT channels than I can fit into this already overlong comment, for such insightful commentary, opinions and hopefully making me a better critical thinker. I did enjoy the LGA snark of being in the room with royalty, yet not furthering their causes or opinions. On point analogies, made by someone whose voice should always be heard because we NEED voices like LGA's to shout over that chaos.

I recognize that the TMZ video might be accurate, but not all their stories undergo due diligence before being posted. Nick Reiner began his multiple stays in rehab at age 15. In a print interview for the 2015 movie "Being Charlie", Nick Reiner compared rehab to a cult. In a video interview for that same movie, Nick Reiner had difficulty in making eye contact, very stiff body language, spoke almost like a child and had trouble staying on topic. Those are symptoms of someone on the spectrum. I have had experience with high functioning autism. However, I am not a clinician. I speculate that rehab scared and scarred Nick Reiner as a young teen, thus inflicting emotional damage. Now add in years of illegal drug use, incorrect diagnoses and prescribed drugs potentially all inflicting damage to a developing brain (the brain is usually fully matured by age 25). This is NOT an excuse for what happened just an explanation. Nick Reiner must be placed in a secure, safe and appropriate facility quite likely for decades. I do hope that the 3 adult children (Stacy, Jake and Romy) of Rob and Michele Reiner are in a safe and caring environment. Their loss is beyond comprehension.

I did appreciate the analysis of MSM/legacy media outlet, The Wrap. They tried. However towards the end of the article The Wrap started to lean to the dark side (aka misstatements & incorrect data), so who knows? Nick Reiner must be placed in a secure, safe and appropriate facility for the remainder of his life. IMO that is why Alan Jackson has been hired. He is not there to free Nick Reiner to live among us, but to be certain that Nick Reiner's location for the next 4 or 5 decades aligns more with the wishes of Rob and Michele Reiner as disconcerting as that may sound to most of us. Perhaps the wills of Rob and Michele Reiner outline their wishes more concretely and specifically? According to AI, a probated will in California is available to the public. It is chilling considering the amount of planning that went into this horrific act. Gavin is correct. The school did their job. The police did their job. Even the MSM/legacy media kept the story active. Yet this tragedy happened with the remains only discovered by chance. Our minds work to make sense of the chaos. Where my mind went, was that Melodee was 9 1/2 years of age when her future was taken from her several months ago. Why did this happen to Melodee at this time in her life? Maybe some clues can be located in the time period of about 2 years ago? Isn't that when images of her ceased? Condolences to family and friends of little Melodee, treat yourselves with kindness and patience. Please try to avoid the torture of the what-ifs.

Thank you to Dr. Grande for outlining the importance that a diagnosis of schizophrenia would have on this case. MSM/legacy media can be less than thorough in verifying information acquired from "unnamed sources". As such we do not know exactly when, or even if, the schizophrenia diagnosis was made. We do not even know for certain if a loud argument at that party precipitated the Reiners departure. When HIPAA is relinquished before or at trial, supported data will be public (unless sealed by the court). One fact that can now be easily verified is that Nick Reiner was first put into rehab at age 15, with many times to follow in his teens. That information has made it into public video and printed interviews with Rob and Nick Reiner. When police located Nick Reiner, he was found in an area where acquiring certain substances without a script is not unheard of. Nick Reiner did what he has done in the past which was an attempt to self-medicate. Unless an individual is a minor child or assigned/committed to a secure facility or bound to a conservatorship, no one can legally force that person to stay on their meds. With that being the current state of the law, and for the safety of society, Nick Reiner must spend either all or most of his remaining years in a safe, secure and (hopefully) appropriate facility.

I do feel sorry to learn about the MS, beyond that my opinion of him is unchanged. I do not wish to watch any of his content on any platform. I know that I still have a bad opinion of him, because I find myself doubting his admission of having MS. I understand he needs to work. My advice is to stay behind the camera and off social media in regards to promoting himself. I sound like a bad movie, but it is (and was) all about the lying. The cheating was only a symptom of his immaturity, lack of empathy and questionable ethics. I do not hate Ned Fulmer. I find him irrelevant and sad.

Loving these commentaries.Who knew that the law could be entertaining? Legend says wearing rose colored glasses make everything look better. The catch/moral is that nothing actually changes, only the wearer's impressions. IMO this group (BL, RR, PR, legal team) have traded those rose-colored glasses in for blinders while taking up residence in their own claustrophobic echo chamber. Every vanity article published in MSM/legacy media plus every plea for sanctions against the defendant's legal team is further undermining the plaintiff's case and reputations of many. In 2025, literally every step, word, action or PR-generated article about BL and RR seems to have gone wrong. RR could not even donate to a children's hospital or produce a movie about a well-loved comedian without getting hit with negative comments. BL bakes bunny cookies (or was it a cake?) which resulted in derision not delight. IEWU the movie, the title and the experience is like a speeding train without brakes. Damaging, dangerous and unstoppable...until perhaps May 18, 2026?

I have seen Wake Up Dead Man as a complete film only once. However watching clips of it for the 2nd time via Dan Murrell, I can more appreciate the deeper themes. I have enjoyed all 3 Benoit Blanc movies. I still like Knives Out best, in consideration of the film being a top notch mystery thriller with vivid secondary characters (as "characters" I include the house and the land, with both being moody and memorable) followed very closely by Wake Up Dead Man with Glass Onion Glass coming in 3rd. Glass Onion was more of a theatrical romp than a deep mystery to me, but was still highly entertaining.

Part 2 of 2 would be sentenced to prison time without possibility of parole for at least 6 months to be served in a Commonwealth of Massachusetts prison. QQQ: As most (or all) of that phone data was acquired during Proctor's time in LE, would there be any immunity attached? As for civil action, it is likely many people whose images are stored on that phone would not wish their data exposed further even with the promise of it being sealed by court order. Plus what would you even sue for, images of Proctor's island vacation?

It is up to the user of this data to determine if the path ahead is the way you wish to go to reach a destination. While everyone becoming a polymath would be protection, that state of being is unworkable. Much more valuable and attainable is to acquire the skill set of being a critical thinker. I would like to think I have a minor ability in that skill as I found, NAG, LGA and others who share their intelligence, compassion and wisdom right here...on the internet. I have no answers to any recent influx of hyperbole only an analogy. We used to scare each other with written maps stating, "and here there be dragons ("real" ones not BL's group). This was so funny. Thank you Kjersti for allowing Magnus to give us the benefit of his centuries of experience in the entertainment world (ALERT: I know the internet, this was a JOKE). I really wonder at that whole concept of this method of PR which involves packing interviews back to back with disinterested, bored and tired celebrities who often are not as charismatic or smart as their characters. As for opinions on other celebrity interviews (in no particular order of naughty or niceness, looks or power): Mel Gibson, Tom Hanks, all the Chris people: Evans, Hemsworth, Pratt, Pine, Daniel Craig, Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Henry Cavill, Paul Feig and James Cameron. I have opinions about all of them. However I would be intrigued to hear opinions from the professionals.

I apologize if this was answered in the video (I did watch twice). QUESTIONS: (1) Is this ruling by the judge on MSJ dismissal with sanctions for the plaintiff have the same power as dismissing a case with prejudice? (2) Does this preclude plaintiffs from ever filing that specific song-related law suit in this court? (3a) What if the plaintiffs take the same issue to a different jurisdiction, could they file there? (3b) Should anti-SLAAP be available, could the defendants then file this motion if the same song was the subject of that new law suit? IMO plaintiffs with hurt feelings cannot seem to grasp the word "NO" as a relevant response. As a result the judicial system and litigants have to deal with the existence of frivolous lawsuits and misuse of court time and resources.

Thank you to Brian Entin for this discussion. Impartiality in this case is difficult, at least for me. As of this comment, police and the DA appear to feel that Nick Reiner was the sole perpetrator who had motive and opportunity. Proving intent will be the job of the DA with the judge keeping all parties within the scope of the law. When HIPAA is surrendered by Nick Reiner, there will be much more information available. If Alan Jackson is as intelligent as his reputation during the 2 Karen Read trials indicated, he will allow information be made available to the public, only requesting that data on third/non-parties be kept sealed. Attorney Jackson is likely well-aware that for his defense to move forward, public support is needed. As much as we all want to know WHY, we will have to wait at least until the arraignment in January 2026, perhaps longer. Mr. Jackson said it properly, let the system do its work. Pure speculation, but I believe Mr. Jackson has been retained to help ensure that Nick Reiner lives the remainder of his lifetime in an appropriate and secure facility

My comment is speculation, as HIPAA is intact and there is so much hearsay in the press. IMO Nick Reiner has had multiple diagnoses over the decades.This could have lead to him being treated "by committee". Committee decisions of a medical nature are often compromises with the inherent danger of over or under medication. Nick Reiner has had decades of people saying "No" and being put back into rehab without his consent, even time homeless. Yet, something (perhaps drug-related) late that night or early that morning drove him into an uncontrollable frenzy. That is an explanation, not an excuse. I can understand the family's wish for privacy and time to grieve. However this tragedy strikes many of us on so many levels. Absolute silence on this matter is unlikely to happen. Gavin Fish, it is not solely your reporter's instinct to discover the truth, it is our collective need to process this unimaginable event.
