JANUARY 2022

Posted to John Campea (RE: Episode 1 of The Book of Boba Fett) uploaded to You Tube 12/29/2021

While I appreciated the backstory, there was far too little of "current" Boba Fett. Plus Boba Fett made a real obvious error as the new crime boss in underestimating his new "clients". It might have helped along the plot, but not sure it made sense in this world.

Glad to hear Abby is avoiding that "other virus" aka burnout. I know of many who are leaving California, Nevada and other Western states due to cost of living issues. Creativity is by definition not subject to human-made boundaries, so Indiana will be fine (and homes cheaper). As for expectation vs. reality, I believe that both factors equate to more of a partnership than a contest...you need both for creativity to arise (I have always wanted to use the word "arise" in an artistic context, so thank you Abby Cox). But OUCH driving that round trip twice in two weeks, download lots of books, music and pods. Bring at least one living being with you (of any species) for intelligent conversation. 😉

Posted to Observe (RE: Part 2 Alec Baldwin interview) uploaded to You Tube 01/07/2022

Alec Baldwin is a person who feels that HE is always in control, that HE is the smartest person in the room (or at a rural road interview in Vermont) and for him admitting to a mistake is just not in his DNA. So I guess, if only given 2 choices, liar? I do not know this person, but have seen him in countless interviews. He hates challenges to what he perceives to be directed to his intelligence, his status or even his parking space. When I learned of the tragic death of Halyna Hutchins,  I felt that Alec Baldwin, the actor (assuming he can control his ego) is not in trouble. Alec Baldwin, the producer however is most likely in trouble, especially if he cannot silence Alex Baldwin the actor from speaking extemporaneously.

Yes Mr. Baldwin is a narcissist and thus cannot allow himself to look weak or wrong in public. A minimal Google search with: Alec Baldwin, disputes, press, will result in lengthy amount of reading and viewing material. "I have thoughts" (all copyright privileges to Emily D. Baker) as to why Baldwin's attorney is making law enforcement run through as many hoops as possible. Alex Baldwin the actor will be fine, but Alec Baldwin the producer could be in major trouble. My theory is that his attorneys are combing through all the data in that phone to see if there could be any liability in the inevitable mountain of civil law suits to come.

BTW Perhaps my heart is harder the Grinch's before his story arc, perhaps my patience has evaporated as the viral variants spring forth, but I find this "Splenda" situation cringy and very very needy.

While not an alien lizard humanoid, the Duke of York (still has that title right?) does fulfill the attributes of the other two terms. Andrew was brought up, taught and treated quite differently from the majority of people living on this planet. While I am not blaming his DNA for his current problems, his detachment from the rest of us has led him to his current situation. Both sadly and ironically, I do believe him when he says he does not remember  Virginia Giuffre.

I had known about Bayard Rustin, but had not realized that even within King's group there were those who felt Rustin should not participate. Freedom is one commodity that vastly increases its worth the more that it is shared and spread. I am so happy for these historical "lessons", as academically my education in that area is obviously lacking. Looking forward to more such "lessons". ❤️

Posted to Observe (RE: Jaime Lynn Spears podcast interview) uploaded to You Tube 01/22/2022

This a broken family that unfortunately for them, is also famous. I agree with Observe, Jamie Lynn is not lying. She is however clueless, confused and angry. Maybe there was a legal reason Jamie Lynn's book had to be released now, book tour begun and not delayed. There are too many variables to be sure. There is someone that can be absolutely blamed n this saga and he is still in court proclaiming his innocence concerning the mismanagement of Britany's estate and wiretapping her bedroom. Jamie Lynn is closer to an NPC than anything else. Now if James Spears is currently giving video interviews, which I highly doubt, that would be an excellent job for this channel.

Posted to Observe (RE: Prince Andrew BBC interview) uploaded to You Tube 01/25/2022

Prince Andrew uses so many words, so many generic sounding phrases that would probably be edited out of a Lifetime movie that this interview would be much more clear if he were muted. I agree that the interviewer is proficient and relentless (in a clarifying way). Everyone at the palace who allowed this interview to happen should be fired or banished. Oh yes he is guilty, but extremely overmatched regarding his interviewer, Emily Maitlis...and unbelievably clueless.

With all this gathered data, I would like to think, maybe it is only a hope, that WHO, CDC and other health organizations will have a clear, scientific, practical and apolitical algorithm for handling the next pandemic.

Congratulations on the anniversary and staying funny after all these years. Love the suggestion of Anita Hill as a new Justice. However she and President Biden literally have a "history" https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/25/us/politics/joe-biden-anita-hill.html

In case this article is behind a paywall, back in ancient times (1991) there was a hearing before Clarence Thomas' appointment to the Supreme Court. This hearing was regarding Clarence Thomas' sexual harassment of Anita Hill. The Democrats and Republicans came to some sort of compromise regarding his appointment. Guess who was the Senator in charge of the Judiciary Committee? Hint: he was (and is) a member of the Democratic Party with considerable political clout then and now.

One vote here if everyone wishes a part 3 and there is time for the analysis. This interview is so good, it could appear in an Andrew Sorkin movie. The interviewer's (Emily Maitlis) dialogue is absolutely on point along with followup questions. Physically, her appearance, even wardrobe is cinematic. Andrew's ("Prince"?) responses are perfect for the clueless, isolated and privileged royal. I still come back to one fact that I cannot reconcile, how did the Palace not try to stop Andrew from participating in this interview?

Posted to Chris Stuckmann(RE:The Book of Boba Fett-The Return of the Mandolorian ep5) 01/30/2022

I enjoyed the "history" parts of The Book of Boba Fett more than its current day story line. I wished that the story had been made more linear perhaps making this an 8 or 9 episode series rather than 7 episodes. Oddly my favorite character of the previous episode was  Black Krrsantan. Episode 5 (Return of the Mandalorian) is my favorite thus far. I know that it was part of this episode's story, but when you only have 3 members of a group left, is it wise for 2 of those members to potentially fight to the death? At least that is what I yelled at my screen. 😉
