Great phrase regarding RR, "The mask did not slip, it got unsealed by a court of law." I am an ordinary person who used to watch and re-watch Deadpool movies. I cannot any more. Even with the Deadpool mask, that voice takes me out of the movie. I did read (legacy media, so who knows) that Marvel put back an RR film onto their schedule, that had previously been put on hold. You know what my first thought was, I wonder who was paid or rewarded or threatened for that to happen. Likely, I am wrong, but that thought came like a reflexive action. For the next few years these celebrities (probably most of the actors from IEWU) might want to keep their heads down, feet off the red carpet and please for the sake of our sanity stop your PR from  planting stories of hospital visits/donations, cheering at your sponsored soccer team 's games or baking inedible (allegedly 😉) cakes.

I  began having doubts about BL's claims when JB and Wayfarer employees, friends and relatives were sent to the basement of the theater showing the premiere. I mean who does that to the director and production company? I do remember when I went from considering this a pretty people problem to becoming quite upset. My anger came when BL's legal team sent over 100 subpoenas to people with absolutely nothing to do with this case except that they commented impartially then used critical thinking skills to realize the details did not line up. Most of the recipients of these subpoenas did not have millions or even thousands for legal expense. Punching down is a very bad look, especially when you want everyone's sympathy, support and sustained fandom. I agree that PGA letter was both a proclamation of power and an epic fail of judgement. Unfortunately you are probably correct, PR articles already written are waiting in the wings destined to be cut and pasted into legacy media, giving a positive spin regarding BL and RR. They had better have a 6 foot stack of letters as it will take considerable spin to make all of us forget what lies beneath the pomp and circumstance of Hollywood.

After that PGA letter, it seems like all BL has left for that jury trial in May 2026, is that smear campaign that supposedly produced dislike for BL on social media. I do not think that she actually cares (or even  understands how social media works). Why care when legacy media is praising her as if she was the savior of humankind? BL may be miffed about her popularity and likability, but this PR show isn't for us (aka the people who shop at COSTCO and worry about their next mortgage payment). My speculation is that her audience for all the SEO is, ALLEGEDLY, movie studios, investors, insurers, A-list directors, casting agents, essentially the power brokers of Hollywood...imo 😉

I understand BL's legal team. You hire an expert, you pay that expert, you expect that expert to help you...expertly. However Dr. Freyd has done, as any astute expert giving depositions to a court should do, cover their posterior with lots of disclaimers. These disclaimers are sufficient to cover the doctor in a court of law. However, the court of public opinion does not always read past the article title and the first paragraph. Plus I hypothesize that SONY is probably not happy with Dr. Freyd either. Should she be advised to hire...a crisis PR person? 😜
