I agree. Leslie Kuhn might want to have a NYS employment attorney do some research on what Kuhn CAN say or publish about her time in Stern's employ. QUESTIONS: (1) I cannot find anything that indicated that Judge Melissa Crane filed this decision with or without prejudice. So can Kuhn appeal? (2) Even if the Judge ruled with prejudice, could Kuhn's dismissed law suit be reworded then filed as a "new" law suit from the perspective of an unreasonable hardship if Kuhn can prove this 2025 NDA prevented her from getting a (comparable) job? (3) If 2025 NDA is not retroactive then how much "wiggle room" does Kuhn have regarding job applications/meetings or even a book deal? (4) Do you think that it was the potential of a book deal or long format interview with MSM that Stern was more concerned about rather than Kuhn "spilling it" in a private employment interview? (5) What if something that Kuhn told a potential employer became public. Who is liable? Kuhn, potential employer, both or neither if Stern cannot definitively prove how data became public?

On point analysis! I agree that BK thinks that he is the smartest person in any room along with anonymity not in his mission statement. However getting a BK update in less than one month (July 2 [plea accepted] - July 27, 2026 [petition for new trial submitted] ) was not on my bingo card. May he soon be returned to the bad neighbors, worse food and utter isolation that he deserves. (posted 08/01/2026)

Of course the swatter should punished, however what is with the LE? Keep in mind this is the department that has been looking for an 84 year old woman and her abductors for over 5 months without even a suspect as of the date of this comment. This is also the department where the person in charge got this current job in spite of a faulty reference of his previous employer in Texas. This is the department that had a record amount of retirements, transfers of LE with years of experience when the current person in charge was re-elected in 2024. I could rant further, but all the data including names, places, dates is all on line pointing out this department as simply not being run properly.

Thank you Attorney Larry for bringing this complaint to our attention. Although, I admit it, I did some minor 😉research on Nicholas Tabus. I think that I have a decent guess (as likely do many other wannabe sleuths online) as to who this person is. I have based my uneducated (and unidentified in this comment) guess on the fact that this person is smart, thoughtful, ethical and likely accurate at an OCD level on a daily basis, including the references made in that complaint. Judges whether appointed or elected, do require immunity as their decisions should be based on law, not fear of reprisals. However, there should be a higher power, at least in the legal sense, to periodically evaluate judges who maintain such control over all the lives of those voluntarily or involuntarily entering the legal system. My guess is that after the November 3, 2026 election in Massachusetts (if it goes as hoped) we will see many early retirements, along with decisions to "spend more time with their families", "explore more options", "work in the private sector" and countless other tropes happening in many areas of power in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Please, as always, vote thoughtfully.
Posted to NotActuallyGolden (RE: Lindsay Clancy and Patrick Clancy's sep. civil suits) 08/02/2026
I understand initial filings by the complainants in civil suits will be focused on only their opinions. As NAG said, there were lots of experts doing their jobs but no one coordinating the care. These civil suits outline what is (or should be) standard of care of mental health diagnosis/treatment. Using the patient as the sole provider of data is the ultimate unreliable narrator. Yes the patient's own complaints should be given import, but they need a frame. This frame would be composed of interviews with the patient's close friends, parents, anyone in the patient's household whose stories would add relevance perhaps confirmation to the patient's own recitation of their history and problems. The frame needs a stand, aka something to support it. The stand would be data from all previous medical providers in regards to mental health and any postpartum issues. Likely the providers wanted good results, but for whatever reasons incompetence, work stress, ineffective mental health guidelines they failed the Clancy family. If nothing else, I hope this case inspires better laws about and treatment for PPP, depression and anxiety.
Posted to NotActuallyGolden (RE: 2 civil suits: (1) Lindsay Clancy & (2) Patrick Clancy) 08/02/2026
If I understand correctly then Lindsay Clancy's civil suit is essentially medical malpractice, while Patrick Clancy's civil suit is a wrongful d3ath claim issued via his position of executor of the estate of the 3 children who can no longer speak for themselves. QUESTIONS: How will (or can) these 2 civil suits be tried? For example, consecutively, concurrently or should the court decide, as one comprehensive case taking place in front of a single judge and jury? If these 2 civil suits are tried consecutively and the first civil suit is dismissed or fails to proceed into discovery or the plaintiff loses then how could this effect the 2nd remaining case? Guessing that concurrently is likely not possible as already crowded court schedules would preclude that event? Is a combination of the two cases possible to be tried in front of one judge and one jury? If yes, is that a good strategic move for either or both of the plaintiffs? Oddly I find the discussion of the civil cases easier for me than the civil trial as I find that I can focus more on strategy than tragedy.
