AUGUST 2022

posted to NatalieLawyerChick (RE: Heard Docs being Misleading by The Daily Beast)  8/02/2022

I am not sure if we can 100% blame this on "he who must not be named" who exacerbated and reveled in chaos. I would like to, but I think the problem goes back further in time. Probably even before the 2015 political campaign. Increasingly people began to consume news via online sources rather than subscriptions to physical media. I am guessing as physical news media tried to reinvent themselves online, the fact checkers on staff were the first to be let go or just simply ignored due to the "need for speed" (thank you Top Gun and Tom Cruise) regarding online news notifications.

Posted to Breakfast All Day movie reviews (RE: The Gray Man--on Netflix) uploaded  08/03/2022

You know the game, "Was It Great or Were You Eight"? I wonder how many movies fit the category, "Was It Fun or Was It Free?" So yes I will see The Gray Man on Netflix, however I still haven't finished Red Notice and that has some humor. I know it does not make me much of a movie aficionado, but these days I like movies to have some humor (especially snark, I LOVE snark).

Posted to The Behavior Panel (RE: latest Will Smith apology) uploaded to You Tube 08/03/2022

I believe that Will Smith is genuinely sorry for the hurt he caused, but I do not see self-awareness. We all deal with bullies every day whether in school or at work. Losing control and hitting someone while not in personal physical danger, is not an option in our society. What made Will Smith, that night at that time in that place all on live television, de-evolve into a 3 year old? Is that our business, probably should not be. However Mr. Smith's very public loss of control does make all of us involved parties. Chris Rock made a stupid and lazy joke. His joke was not nice, not empathetic but also not physically threatening.  If the next day in a very public manner, the Smiths had donated to the National Alopecia Areata Foundation and Autoimmune Association, just imagine how we would view Will Smith and Chris Rock at that point?

Posted to Dr. Todd Grande (RE: Gary Maynard ) uploaded to You Tube 08/04/2022

Mr. Maynard seems to have swallowed the DSM-5 and is showing symptoms as each chapter gets digested. Assuming there isn't an organic reason such as a tumor, dementia or substance issue, this individual is a poster child for the need for affordable and available mental health diagnosis and treatment.

Posted to Uncivil Law (RE: Damages owed by Alex Jones) uploaded to You Tube 08/04/2022

QUESTION: Regarding the punitive damage determination: (1) what about lost salary and loss of future work projects? (2) Could mental health expenses such as therapy be included? (3) What about security measures/purchases that were made due to death threats made towards the plaintiffs? Or would all those factors have to be a part of discovery process before any compensation could be considered?  QUESTION: What about perjury charges for Alex Jones or was the manner that the phone records (texts/emails) were obtained negate that possibility?  Well at least it is literally on record that Alex Jones is a liar.

Posted to Breakfast All Day (RE: Predator (2022) review) uploaded to You Tube 08/06/2022

A new take on the "Predator" series, I haven't felt this intrigued since the closing scene in the 2nd move (aptly titled Predator 2) when Danny Glover's character makes it into the spaceship and looks at all the relics that have been collected from, I 'm assuming, the losers in the hunt. I always like intelligence in a horror/thriller/science fiction movie, body counts and jump scares never gains my interest. Good review by Alonso and Christy, it has made me want to watch a Predator movie.

Posted to Rachel Maksy (RE: Mouse House/hobbit hole) uploaded to You Tube 08/05/2022

The details, I mean dripping wax on a teeny tiny candle even decorating the interior of the outside door. Almost thought that the mouse portraiture was going to be Frodo and kitty. This was (ironically) a massive job and kudos to Nick for cutting that opening in the wall for...a mouse house and not a sound system. Would love to see another mini project, but maybe run it by your SO first, as multiple acts of wall cutting can be a deal breaker for some people. Basements are usually not friendly places so murals, mouse house, whatever is going to make people happier (maybe the spirits and demons too) just create it.

Posted to Dr. Todd Grande (RE: Alex Jones loses defamation lawsuit) uploaded to You Tube 08/07/2022

If Mr. Jones wished to improve society by exposing conspiracies which hurt our society, where was he when oxycontin (opioids) was being pushed as a benign, non addictive pain reliever or during past congressional hearings to address medical care for the illnesses suffered by 9-11 first responders or recent congressional hearings regarding care for soldiers bivouacked near burn pits?  I can comprehend one damaged human's unconscionable behavior due to mental illness or just plain greed. What I cannot get my heard around are his numerous followers and those who support his organizations financially and with violent behavior.

Posted to Angry Joe (RE: WB cancels Batgirl etc.) uploaded to You Tube 08/03/2022

Perhaps Batgirl was irredeemable, who knows? Thanks to David Zaslav (former CEO of Discovery, current CEO of the merged WB/Discovery) we will never know. Seems like WB could have at least relinquished the film to its creators with provisos such as no theatrical release and the WB name will not be prominently displayed in the film's opening and closing credits. They could still take a loss, maybe not as big and thus quality for tax benefits. From interviews with and articles about Mr. Zaslav, I do not see him as being that even-handed. It is probably too early to judge Mr. Zaslav's intentions or ethics, so I request that the "jury" just Google Discovery list of shows and series and make up your own minds.

Posted to The Try Guys (RE: Looking for the best slice of cheese pizza in NYC) uploaded to You Tube 08/07/2022

I was going to say that Keith might be leaning towards pizza-snobbery, I will withhold that prejudicial conclusion due to his unflagging optimism as he continued on his odyssey. This was a mythic quest where the artifact, I mean slice, was never secured. So I say dream on Young Keith do not lose that hope and youthful enthusiasm as that perfect cheese pizza is out there...somewhere.

Posted to Gold Shaw Farms (RE: New Bull Calf) uploaded to You Tube 08/08/2022

I never knew that rotational grazing not only helped the land, it was natural pest control! That is genius socializing the baby bull, even when testosterone hits, (hopefully) their early training will prevent the farmer from getting smushed. I very much appreciated the kindness and the logic that the cattle owners showed with their animals. As for a name, "Chewbacca" (of course "Chewy" for short). If that name is in use at Gold Shaw Farm, maybe Zeus or Jupiter (the Greek/Roman god had LOTS of children), then there is "Baba" ( the word, father in certain African-based languages) or the Norse names of Odin ("Oddie" for short) or Heimdall.

Posted to HauteLeMode (RE: Chanel Show) uploaded to You Tube 08/08/2022

As usual this was a very fair and knowledgeable commentary. For me this was an elegant collection, but also seems to be overly staid or perhaps a little too much reverence to the past? I must confess to a personal prejudice of mine, I do not like pockets over chest area. They have little utilitarian value and seem to be a less than creative way of decorating the bodice area. The one standout to me is the black gown with chevron stripes and sheer sleeves/shoulders which can also be worn by individuals of various sizes.

Posted to Stoned Gremlin community page (RE: Top Movies of 1982) uploaded to YouTube 08/06/2022

I voted for E.T. The Extra Terrestrial however where was Blade Runner? While not a success financially, Blade Runner really showed what a film can do with proper world building. Another gripe, where is The Thing? The Thing still scares the ** out of me. To this day, I cannot watch the dog scene. As for the (human) actors, Kurt Russell was fantastic in that movie!

Posted to John Campea (RE: Henry Cavill does not wish to return to Superman role) 08/08/2022

Hmmm, not be to crass but I thought Henry Cavill was anxious to return to this role? My guess, bad script and/or even worse money is behind his "new" response. BTW Henry Cavill deserves every coin and every well-written word that he can get. While he may not have the skill-set to play the lead in a Shakespearean drama, he is the image many of us have in our brains when the word, "Superman" is spoken.

Posted to Kevin Smith/Hollywood Babble On (RE: WB/Discovery changes) 08/06/2022

Sorry about Kevin Smith's pulled project, it sounded great. As for Batgirl, whatever the quality, sacrificing it on the altar of reduced corporate taxes is not a good look. All that being said, if they eviscerate HBOmax, I will take my money (admittedly paltry to Mr. Zaslav's bottom line) and go to another streaming service.

Posted to Philip DeFranco (RE: August 8 News) uploaded to You Tube 08/08/2022

I know that U.S. bills, before the are voted into laws, often have "extras" attached. However when I see ALL Democrats  (admittedly with "concessions and additions") voted for this bill and almost ALL Republicans voted against it makes me wonder, why. Is the bill that faulty, or is it just labeled Democrat?

Posted to Hoeg Law (RE: Netflix and Disney Issues) uploaded to You Tube 08/09/2022

Judging by David Zaslav's (new CEO of HBO-DISCOVERY) recent actions, HBOmax streaming service may de-evolve into a minor player in streaming services. Kind of benefits Netflix, or for that matter any other streaming service, still adding creative/additional options to their services.

BTW I have subscribed to Netflix for years. This is the first time that I have heard that Netflix is offering video (?or mobile?) games. Weird even if in beta seems like they should inform current subscribers.

Caroline has never married. She/he/they is about 55, but is in good shape for 55. Caroline is THAT aunt/cousin who travels throughout the EU (and UK) and visits nieces, nephews and other family members living abroad, I will guess Spain, Greece and/or Italy. Caroline treasures family, but likes to have a good time while wearing questionable blue floral outfits. Caroline was a VP for a cosmetics company, but took early retirement in order to travel. Caroline is currently a consultant (free-lance), working for a distributor of perfumes. Caroline has NO regrets!

Just had a thought with all of these lost bags due to airlines cancelling and rescheduling flights why not do a video on checking out Apple  Air Tags along those from other manufacturer's for the best deal, the most features or just the best all-around track record for accuracy.  You could "hide" bags at all your friends' or relatives' homes!

Posted to Uncivil Law (RE: Raid on Trump's home at Mar-a-Lago) uploaded to You Tube 08/09/2022

I really do not see the upside in this. This raid could uncover a video of Putin face-timing with Trump indicating money and/or favors being exchanged. Trump's followers would not believe it. Republican senators and representatives would not consider this as evidence admissible in the January 6th hearings. Trump would proclaim himself a victim. Putin, well would do what Putin does. What is gained? Now we have a precedent that does not bode well for any democracy.

Posted to Uncivil Law (RE: Erica Girardi being sued) uploaded to You Tube 08/09/2022

The irony in all of this is that Erika Girardi is probably so self-absorbed and so entitled that she may truly be ignorant of everything, even the real purpose of the LLC. It's the old game of stupid or liar. I doubt that will be of much comfort to those who lost quality of life and compensation due to the greed of a someone who is now in a care home with probably no memory of what he did. The only justice one can hope for in this tragedy is that laws are changed. Letting the "winning" attorney hold onto the money is a conflict of interest. All settlements should go into an account without any connection to the attorney, the firm or relatives of said attorney.

Posted to Katie Couric (RE: Search & Seizure at Mar-a-Lago) uploaded to You Tube 08/10/2022

I always appreciate a Neal Katyal interview. He makes clarity seem easy. I had not realized that the improperly removed paperwork found in the safe at Mar-a-Lago was of (potentially) such high security. I was afraid that this action was a bad precedent set by the January 6 hearing officials overly anxious to discredit, incriminate this individual at any cost without considering the constitutional consequences. I would have preferred that this action be bipartisan (remember that term?) effort. I am so so fatigued with the bickering in our government hindering any progress for the U.S. or any relief for U.S. citizens.

Pinned by LegalEagle:
👮‍♂ Do you think it's unfair that Texas limits punitive damages?
In general no, as not all cases have a defendant as obviously guilty as with this case. However, wouldn't it be nice if the damages would not be limited if the defendant committed perjury. Not to be a tattletale, but perhaps the IRS might be interested in checking corporate taxes owed vs. paid regarding the companies of Alex Jones.

Posted to Hoeg Law (RE: Lawsuit regarding Oprademics podcast) uploaded to You Tube 08/12/2022

This reminds me of the lawsuit initiated by Netflix regarding the production of: Unofficial Bridgerton Musical (Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear). It seems like there is tacit acceptance of that musical or this Oprah-adjacent podcast (with unofficial in the pod description but not on its "cover page") by the OG owners when the "adjacent" entity is relatively small. However when said musical or podcast begins gaining fame and/or money that is when the lawsuits are filed. Treat all these words as a mathematical problem, the lowest common denominator equals to what everyone has already guessed,  MONEY.

posted to Dr. Todd Grande (RE: Release of serial killer) uploaded to You Tube 08/12/2022

No matter how attractive this criminal made himself to others, the blame of releasing a predator into the general population lies with the doctors, prison officials, probation officers and the government in place at that time, who allowed this to happen.  They knew (or should have known) better as professionals versus the social media of that time period.

Posted to Ask A Mortician (RE: Embalming of Goonew) uploaded to You Tube 08/12/2022

I doubt I would attend that type of funeral/wake, but I believe that the wishes of this artist's family, friends and community carry much more weight than my personal discomfort. This looked like an honorable, respectful even enjoyable way to say goodbye and it was in line with the wishes of the deceased. The internet likes to complain, it is basically Schadenfreude 'r Us (RIP Toys 'r Us). The only proviso I would give any family that wishes to display the deceased is that ALL (living) attendees are made aware that the guest of honor will be in attendance prior to the (living) attendees showing up.

Posted to Smokey Glow (RE: Scammers) uploaded to You Tube 08/13/2022

This was a very good factual and psychological analysis. Fantastic research! Thank you for pointing out the "real-life" victims of these scams. Blaming these victims is basically traumatizing them again, but then I am have a feeling that the negative comments came from people with a minimal amount of empathy and perhaps even less intelligence.  All that being said, the scammer I found the most intriguing was Anna Delvey (Sorokin). I think that she was the one, had I befriended her then finding out the truth about her would have shocked me. I guess that is the weakness on my part I should watch out for...so this video was a PSA for me!

I am not familiar enough with the lore of DC to agree or disagree with Dan's "If I Ran DC".  I would instead tell the corporation's board of directors and stockholders that you would need to hire that rare unicorn who loves the material, understands the canon, is good with people (creatives and suits) and has a decent knowledge of the economics of the movie business. Wonder how Kevin Feige is doing these days?😉

Posted to MSNBC (RE: Documents removed from Trump's Safe) uploaded to You Tube 08/13/2022

Oh I am sure that the former President did that of which he was accused. However the upcoming routine of acolytes saying this was either a lie or a set up versus those who knew documents were inappropriately taken and thus informed the FBI, is just so painful. There is video from multiple sources/individuals (statistically likely that some of whom are Republicans) showing what occurred in front of and inside The White House in DC. on January 6, 2021. Beyond some convictions regarding cases of rioters who conveniently posted their participation on social media, I do not see any substantial punishments for those who exhorted their followers to storm The White House.  This loop of illogic wears me out as I do not see the light at the end of this tunnel, no end to this division.

The last thing our social media-obsessed world needs is another, younger, perhaps smarter Alex Jones. What to do about this Alex Jones 2.0?  I really do not know. However, ignorance will never help a society avoid a pandemic or deal with global warming not to mention ignoring people or groups promoting hate and stupidity.

Posted to Dr. Todd Grande (RE: Eric Smith) uploaded to You Tube 08/16/2022

I agree with Dr. Grande in that Eric Smith needs 24/7 monitoring until he dies. He is now 41 and has been in prison since the age of 13. That fact alone makes him less than fit to live in society unattended. I read that he will be "residing in Queens County". One can only hope he is living in a secure group home, wearing an ankle monitor and visits his parole officer daily. It would be some sort of justice if his care was at least partially paid for by the families of the bullies who tortured him in school, but then again there were so many adults in the life of Eric Smith (the child) who obviously did not do their jobs competently. Adequate mental health coverage and availability, might have saved two lives back in August 1993, the perpetrator and the victim.

I know that this is a minority opinion (probably it is just me 😉), but I think that the Oscars should feature video clips, songs and choreography performed live along with a list of those who have left us that year...however ZERO speeches. The winners should just stand up, bow, wave, smile at the camera and then SIT DOWN (without slapping anyone). Speeches can be recorded later and streamed through...someplace.

Kudos for contacting and interviewing Peter the Farmer. He does seem like a nice guy. To be honest I had wondered why I never see veterinary work on this series. I just assumed it was going on as all the creatures (great and small-->shout out to James Herriot, author and veterinarian) seem happy and healthy. I highly doubt many of these really angry outliers are actually angry. There are using Gold Shaw Farm (and probably other popular You Tube series) for content. Posted to Dr. Todd Grande (RE: Twin girls murder their mother) uploaded to You Tube 08/18/2022

Brains (ethics/judgement) do not mature until approximately 25 years. I am not doing a deep dive into the history of these two girls. I can only guess that with even all the tumult in their lives, there was little if any mental health intervention. I wonder if there was any monitoring when they were in the custody of their great grandmother? This is all so sad because it was preventable. Being vigilant about vaccinations is not enough, there should be some time spent on the child's mental health. The conclusion of all these lives being ruined or cut short is beyond tragic.

Posted to The Behavior Panel (RE: Ramseys Interview 2001) uploaded to You Tube 08/18/2022

Sorry, I get nothing from the conclusion of the 911 call except that it sounds like a group of different voices were all yelling/talking at the same time.  JonBenet Ramsey died on 12/25/1996 and the book spoken of in this interview was published 01/01/2001. Perhaps the time differential plus paid experts may have "assisted" the Ramseys on conduct while being interviewed. Ironically there is another book (not from Patsy Ramsey as she died in 2006). John Ramsey had an audio book published in 2012. Wonder if there is any video or audio interview of Mr. Ramsey regarding that book?
Impressive Margaret Thatcher by Mark Bowden. Might be interesting for The Behavior Panel to analyze Mrs. Thatcher. This is only a text reference to what might be an interesting speech to analyze https://www.margaretthatcher.org/document/102963

My thoughts are with Scott Rouse and his family during this time.

Posted to Gold Shaw Farm (RE: Can a small farm succeed) uploaded to You Tube 08/20/2022

With costs as high as they must be for small farmers, any net positive is probably a thumbs up regarding a farmer's skill set and dedication. I think that what must help enormously is having a partner who probably has excellent medical/dental care through her employer (and obviously her salary). While the SO, is mostly "behind the scenes" her assistance is enormously helpful to the operation of Gold Shaw Farm. It may not take a village to run a farm successfully, but it definitely helps to have two people who have the same vision for the farm.

Posted to Runkle of the Bailey (RE: Screwdriver "gun") uploaded to You Tube 08/20/2022

WARNING the following comment involves some snark, irony, and a dash of sarcasm.
Well in all fairness to news media, if one dropped this "gun" screwdriver on someone's toe, it would hurt, result in a nasty bruise and perhaps even cause a fracture. Also if the individual who dropped the "gun" on said toe did it deliberately, it would be assault. If this person did it accidentally then it could be an involuntary violation of the designated way to handle a tool (my terms). Now if the person dropped the "gun" on their own toe, now you have negligence suit against an entity with "big pockets".
And yes, I agree with Runkle, this is probably clickbait by the news media outlets who have reported this item. Not exactly Woodward and Bernstein (yes I am old, so just Google those names) level of journalism.

Posted to Hazariel Costumes (RE: World Event cosplay) uploaded to You Tube 08/20/2022

There are many things to love on this channel with the designs, costumes and crafts. I also come here for the humor. Absolutely loved the French thematic music every time the Nagoya TV Tower appeared in frame. Amazing costumes and the timing of those changes, was spectacular! I would have been petrified. I recently cosplayed as Shinobu Kocho (Demon Slayer), but all I had to do was walk around a convention as a visitor not performer! So happy this event was finally able to come together. I visited Tokyo years ago, in mid-September so no constant cicada chirping; just delicious food, beautiful shrines along with very helpful and polite Japanese people (who wore masks waaaay before we did).

Posted to Dr. Todd Grande (RE: Gary Busey) uploaded to You Tube 08/24/2022

My opinion, totally not supported by any links to news articles, medical knowledge or for that matter any info on Mr. Busey, is that while actually suffering from permanent brain damage, the actor in him "leaned into it" and as Dr. Grande hypothesized used it to gain roles and publicity.  I have been to many comic and anime cons. Conventions are not the places to visit (unattended) if you have behavioral control issues. The con I last attended widely displayed this phrase that informs attendees, "cosplay is not consent".

Posted to AngryJoeShow (RE: Review of She-Hulk episode 1) uploaded to You Tube 08/24/2022

AngryJoeShow is a show that reviews things. By definition a review is the opinion of the reviewer. A review is not a mandate for the rest of us on how to think or to behave. The comic books, graphic novels can be canon, but film (excepting a documentary) shouldn't be, doesn't need to be, an exact duplicate of the canon that inspired its creation.  All that being said there are still 8 more episodes for the public to view concerning She-Hulk. While I hope for an entertaining series, at this point unless one has seen all 9 episodes, there is no valid responses.

Posted to antphrodite (RE: death of Kiely Rodni) uploaded to You Tube 08/24/2022

The hardest thing to comprehend from a tragic accident like this poor girl's is the utter randomness of it all. This reading did bring up many valid points. In addition though, I hope that the parents/guardians of the attendees provide professional counseling to the group. It is highly likely that these teens will take this experience into adulthood. They need help to process everything that happened at and after that party.

🚨 31 Million Dollar Verdict 🚨
The verdict is in for Vanessa Bryant and Christopher Chester against the County of Los Angeles over photos taken of the Kobe Bryant helicopter crash scene and the deceased. Bryant was awarded $16 mil, Chester $15 mil. After what we covered on Tuesday, this was the outcome I expected.
My comment:
I am guessing the penalty/award will be paid for by LA County's liability insurance, resulting in higher premium costs, which will not doubt be passed on to LA County residents in the form of taxes. Do not misunderstand, the plaintiffs should have received 50 million for the appalling behavior of some of those first responders. I am just afraid that nothing will change or evolve. What should happen is that the employees who took and shared those images should be retrained or fired. Laws should be passed prohibiting this behavior with the threat of dismissal, jail or both. Yes that would be enforcing moral, ethical and compassionate behavior via the legal system. Yes that is so very sad.

Thank you for the show and tell indicating exactly what is involved in testing ammunition and a particular gun. I did have to keep the close captioning on for the portion of the video filmed at the shooting range. Ambient noise was LOUD.
There was a village of failures on the Rust movie which was set in motion by the directive to save money. While Alec Baldwin the actor is a narcissist, arrogant and seemingly oblivious to his own deficiencies, his fault is much lower than the production company of which Alec Baldwin the producer belonged. They tried to save money, instead a life was lost, a family decimated and most likely a profession, perhaps even an industry tarnished.

This is a movie that I will definitely watch when it streams on the best quality screen...in my home. It has Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba it has to be watchable, even if only once 😉.  BTW the best Jinn/Genie in my modest opinion is (and that includes all Aladdin variations): The X-Files: Season 7, Episode 21 "Je Souhaite". This television (now there's a retro concept) was not pushing any cinematographic boundaries, but it has great acting and crisp dialogue, plus the ending is "chef's kiss" level.

I love thrift shopping. It is like a voyage of discovery...with budget pricing! While pro hair/makeup and Mia hair/makeup were both great, I prefer the Mia version. However THE DAY can be stressful so definitely have the pro hair person on deck. BTW I find that if I allow enough time for my make up, the process can be almost relaxing. Glad Tate's shirt is being tailored for him. I have seen so many wedding dress shirts kind of making a weird box-like shape (love the wooden buttons) on people. While I am not getting married, I would still enjoy seeing a Q & A on planning your own wedding. Admittedly not all people are expert tailors, but there are still lots of wedding hacks to share with everyone.

I really enjoyed Johnny Harris retro-designed educational video, certainly made things clearer to me!😉
I had read that Margaret Sanger's motives concerning the birth control pill were problematic. However I never heard of that Puerto Rican study. The level of estrogen administered made me shudder. Unfortunately that study was not the only supposedly benevolent study that used unethical and unscientific methodology (Google: Tuskegee/USPHS study 1932-1972).  I only did a very shallow dive into Margaret Sanger's career. Perhaps she recognized eugenics as bad PR, but seems like towards her final decades there was less of a public push  regarding eugenics. I would like to think as she saw the pill become so important to so many that maybe she altered her views in acceptance of that data or maybe the horrific events of the second world war was the deciding factor in her mind.

Thank you for giving such a comprehensive video on this subject. I had never heard of the Puerto Rican study (which ran from 1961 - 1976). It is nauseating how flawed and unethical methodology has been in the past. I won't mention the specific disease (risk of further 'bot incursion), however the Tuskegee/USPHS study 1932-1972 was even worse.

Civil War is not any answer nor an absolute fate for the U.S. Political division has been with us a very long time. I was surprised to hear this line (paraphrased) from of all things, the 1996 movie, "The Birdcage" when the son states to his (gay) father that 50% of the country is conservative. That was another century ago. We have never recovered from the division of the (American) Civil War which happened 1861-1865. While it got somewhat worse under Regan, it was weaponized by "he who shall not be named" in November, 2016. We should see this as a cautionary tale. Try to get a long somehow or risk being demoted to a very weak member of this world with no power, no influence.
